Privacy and cookies

Optional Google Analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics,” Google Analytics uses cookies to help us understand website visits, where visitors come from and which steps of joining work or fail. It receives browser and device information, approximate location, page names and events such as opening Discord or our Steam group, starting an application or seeing its status.

Our Google Analytics events do not send your email, SteamID64, Discord identity, request ID, form answers or sign-in codes. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. A Discord or Steam group link click does not tell us that you joined, and a server-code copy does not confirm that you entered the game.

Choose “No thanks” to use the site without Google Analytics. You can change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. We remember the choice for up to six months. Withdrawing permission stops future collection and removes this site's Analytics cookies; it does not erase information already sent to Google.

Google processes Analytics data under its Privacy Policy. You can also use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Website performance

Cloudflare also measures visits and loading performance on pages where its Web Analytics script runs. This operates separately from our Google Analytics cookie choice. It measures information such as page paths, referring pages and loading times without analytics cookies or local storage. Our current Cloudflare setting excludes visitors in the EU. See Cloudflare's measurement details.

Whitelist applications

Gramps saves your Discord identity, SteamID64, email, community answer, consent and application outcome so UNCs administrators can review and manage access. Your application and email are not public. Discord identifies the account you use to sign in; it does not verify the Steam ID or email you enter. Application-related messages are separate from marketing.

If a request isn’t sent because your sign-in ran out or Discord access couldn’t be confirmed, this browser tab keeps your SteamID64, email and community answer so you don’t have to type them again. They’re filled back in only if you sign in again with the same Discord account within 30 minutes, and they’re removed once used, when you sign out or when you close the tab.

Essential services

Sign-in and security cookies keep your application session working. Cloudflare hosts the website, Railway runs Gramps, and Discord handles sign-in and community membership. Those services may process connection and security information when you use them. Links to Discord, Steam and Patreon take you to services with their own privacy policies.
